About Me…

My Mission and Objective: Upon earning my degree as a Doctor of Chiropractic, I want to positively impact my community along with the costly and complex world of medicine by serving one person at a time in an effort to help patients achieve excellent health and function at their optimum capacity. I will accomplish this by delivering a natural, holistic approach to health care without the invasive use of drugs or surgery.

ACTIVE RELEASE TECHNIQUES

Active Release Techniques (ART) are a soft tissue method that focuses on relieving tissue tension via the removal of fibrosis/adhesions which can develop in tissues as a result of overload due to repetitive use.[1] These disorders may lead to muscular weakness, numbness, aching, tingling and burning sensations. ART has been reported to be both a diagnostic and a treatment technique, however, there is little scientific evidence regarding the effects of ART on various pathologies, with most of the available evidence being anecdotal and based on case reports

Purpose

ART is used to treat symptoms with muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia and nerves.

1) Restore free and unimpeded motion of all soft tissues

2) Release entrapped nerves, vasculature and lymphatics

3) Re-establish optimal texture, resilience and function of soft tissues.
